Located near the Six Flags Aurora facility, Dunlop & Johnston has completed two separate projects at this location in the past two years. The first was the addition of a state of the art banquet and conference center on the south side of the existing building. Construction included installation of the buildings foundations and utilities in rock. At the projects onset, the owner expressed that the standards of the existing Bertram Inn required that all new work be of the highest quality to match that what was already in place. Having accomplished this goal as well as completing the project ahead of schedule, Dunlop & Johnston, Inc. was immediately awarded a follow on project, an addition to the Inn including 66 guestrooms and suites. Having established a level of quality, this project also required an accelerated schedule to maximize the remaining summer season of the adjacent theme park. Working with a new Architect, as well as a whole new set of subcontractors, Dunlop & Johnston, Inc. was again able to complete the project ahead of the already accelerated schedule while preserving the levels of quality demanded previously.
