Project Details
Dunlop & Johnston, Inc. completed this new construction project in 2002. We functioned as the General Contractor with all
subcontractors working under our direction. The architect and owner were both very demanding regarding the quality of
workmanship and attention to the schedule. Through the dedication of our on site staff and continuous communication by our
office we were able to meet and exceed everyone’s expectation.
One of the signature elements of this project was a stone feature wall that was to be constructed at the front of the new sanctuary.
The masonry contractor for the project did not have any employees that were adequately experienced to perform this work. As a
solution he found and hired several retired stone masons to be sure that the work was performed correctly. This type of dedication
to the project is typical of the subcontractors regularly employed by Dunlop & Johnston, Inc.
