General Contracting
Dunlop & Johnston, Inc. has a strong history of managing both subcontractors, suppliers, and construction schedule under a traditional design-bid-build delivery method. From lump sum bidding for public entities, invitation-only private bidding, or negotiated contract, our team provides these services for a wide range of clients, managing all aspects of the construction process.
Construction Management
Our team brings the expertise necessary to work with our clients as an Agent or under a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) contract. During the preconstruction phase, our estimating department will develop budget estimates from conceptual design through final construction. Here we prepare bid packages, review scopes of work, provide value-engineering recommendations, cost benefit analysis, constructability reviews, as well as project phasing suggestions. In an "At Risk" delivery method, the client may experience a greater sense of cost certainty, as all project costs are presented in an "open book" format.
Construction Consulting
In addition to providing General Contracting and Construction Management services, Dunlop & Johnston, Inc. has worked with our clients throughout the design and construction process by providing our expertise for conceptual estimating, value-engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, and sustainability recommendations. It has become our mission to assist our clients in the preconstruction phase as much as possible in order to limit project costs and ensure a realistic project schedule. It is inherent in our company culture to provide these services all while keeping the design intent and functionality for our customer and their end user.
